Samuel Merrin dot org: It's “dot-org” for a reason.

You've probably never actively thought about them. They've probably rarely, if ever, crossed your mind. But your naiveté doesn't change the fact that they can ruin your life, and in some extreme cases eradicate you from the land of the living. I'm talking, of course, about the world's three major threats: dragonflies, q-tip monitoring devices, and velociraptors.

I've written SamuelMerrin.org in an attempt to draw attention to the three factors that, I believe, are single-handedly responsible for the eventual downfall of the human race. Global warming is nothing compared to the unexpected wrath of a dragonfly, the casual efficacy of the q-tip monitoring device, and the blatant ferocity of the velociraptor. Separately, these three factors are enough to throw the human race into the air and back that up with a flying sidekick to the head, until the human race ends up broken, scarcely breathing, in a pile of jungle mud.

You think I'm exaggerating? You take me as a hyperbolist? Well, friends and strangers, if you think this is a joke than you are in for a big, earth-shattering surprise. Because the threats are real, they are out there, and they are dangerous.
